The sun shines on vegetation all year long, as the fall proceeds the warm colors begin to dominate. Learn how to warm up and balance your paintings using the warm colors. When I first started painting, I always let the cool colors dominate. In this mini 2 day workshop we will create a fall scene with Ellen Jean Diederich. Learn multiple ways to work to use these colors and bring photographs of scenes you would like to paint. Some painting experience with watercolor required.
Day 1 Paint bricks using a variety of warm colors. Create a warm palette, create a grid and draw out your subject on top. Practice fall trees
Day 2 Reflect colors on a white subject, paint a warm background around them.
